Westpac Home Loans

The range of Westpac home loans can suit owner occupiers, investors, first home buyers or those upgrading their home, and each loan can be further customised to add the features you need, or to qualify you for a discounted interest rate. You can choose from:

  • Standard variable loans. Westpac’s standard variable loan option allows you to add a loan package to be eligible for a discount of up to 0.7% interest. You also pay no monthly fee on your loan account and can enjoy features such as a 100% offset account, additional repayments, redraw and repayment holidays for free.
  • Basic standard variable loan. For a lower interest rate you can pay as you go for the loan features you use for example you can make additional repayments, but redraw is charged a fee, but there remains no monthly fee.
  • Fixed home loans. You can choose a fixed term from 1 to 5 years, 7 years or ten years and add a home loan package to qualify for a 0.2% discount.
  • Line of credit. You can again enjoy a 0.7% discount if you choose on a line of credit loan from Westpac, not that you have to worry about your repayments at all until you reach your credit limit. You can make additional repayments to your loan amount, but are discouraged from withdrawing those funds with a redraw fee.
