Take Advantage of the Salary Caps to Find Your Dream Home
With the literal media storm brewing over their heads due to the recent salary cap controversy you’d have to hope that Melbourne Storm players Billy Slater, Greg Inglis and Cameron Smith were living it up in some truly spectacular homes, well we here at Home Loan Finder would like to think so, so we’ve compiled a list of Melbourne Storm Players humble homes.
Billy Slater:

We all remember Billy Slater from last year’s titanic grand final match between Melbourne Storm and the Parramatta Eels, which the Eels have now won due to the Storm having been stripped of the premier title, well he has used his extra pay and taken out a great loan from Citibank to acquire this lovely house:

Being from Queensland Billy is obviously used to temperate climates and tropical weather hence going for the more unconventional construction style of “stack a bunch of caravans on each other and hope for the best”, to create optimal cool spots and wind flow. This contempary home features a bathroom in all 7 caravans and is at the forefront of green design by re-using old caravans sourced from Southern America. Each caravan is a charming mix of character featuring a bedroom, bathroom and the possibility of a gas cooker! The shipping container (bottom right) is the dining room so when the relatives come everyone can cook a meal in their caravan and bring it down for a feast. Billy also has a pool in the front yard to perform laps in, careful though Billy there are gold fish in there. Clearly Billy has been putting his additional pay to excellent use and adhering to the fundamental rules of sustainability in construction.
Greg Inglis:

Greg Inglis, winner of the 2009 Golden Boot, one of the most coveted Rugby League trophy’s which acknowledges the player as the best in the world has been living in what may be considered the most interesting house in the world, the home loan to acquire this beauty must have taken some serious paper work.

This prime piece of real estate is located off the Great Australian Bite and as you can see features its very own Sky Lift to get you to and from the mainland. Greg has built his house on a natural rock platform in true traditional Japanese Castle style with a small dock below the main house for mooring any boats. This house will probably prove invaluable to him in the future as a way of warding of those pesky reporters and NRL officials, and he can always have a boat ready for a quick getaway.
Cameron Smith:

Cameron Smith Melbourne Storm’s hooker has played his entire career with Melbourne Storm, and with his extra pay he’s decided to build the most environmentally unfriendly house humanly possible, which uses 100,000,000 watts of power a day with its intuitive lighting.

Research has shown that for every 100 trees you plant you offset 1 trip to Europe worth or carbon, we wonder how many plants Cameron Smith will have to plant to offset his carbon footprint too survive a read a book in this place? Just take a look at that TV on the 3rd floor on the left side, that thing is the size Billy’s pool! Speaking of offsetting, how will he hide from a reporter or NRL official in this house?! You can probably see this place from space it’s that bright.
