Aussie Mummy Bloggers with the X-Factor Awards: Tina Gray (dot) Me
Name: Tina Gray (dot) Me
Blog: http://tinagray.me/

1.How long have you been blogging for?
I have been blogging, on and off, since 2007 and I’ve had a few different blogs during that time. I remember running 3 blogs at one time for a while. It’s taken me this long to work out that I’m a one blog blogger.
2.What made you decide to start your own blog?
At first it was a way to share digital scrapbooking pages I created with other scrapbooking enthusiasts. But it didn’t take long for my blog to become a kind of online diary where I could vent, share and ramble on about anything and everything.
3. How do you enjoy to spend your time outside of blogging?
Aside from blogging, I enjoy reading, taking photos and learning how to manipulate those photos in Photoshop, planning parties and special occasions, dabbling in different crafts, and spending time with my gorgeous husband and children.
4.How many children do you have?
I have five children – a son who is 19 this year and 4 daughters aged 18, 16, 11 and 4.
5.What posts are you most proud of?
- No-one is listening until you fart (http://tinagray.me/2010/06/27/no-one-is-listening-until-you-fart/)
- Teenagers and Chores (or Everybody helps because I said so) (http://tinagray.me/2010/09/22/teenagers-and-chores-or-everybody-helps-in-this-house-because-i-said-so/)
- 13 things I {heart} about my husband (http://tinagray.me/2010/07/29/13-things-i-heart-about-the-husband/)
6.What do you enjoy blogging about most?
I enjoy blogging about my family the most – the proud moments, the not-so proud moments, the silly things they say and do. We have an on-going joke at Chez Gray when someone does something silly, someone else will say “Mum is so blogging about you!”
7.What projects/articles are you currently working on?
I am currently working with five fabulous bloggers, organising the Aussie Bloggers Conference, the first ever blogging conference focusing on the mum, parenting and personal blogging communities of Australia. I also founded the PR Friendly Australian Blog Directory. I wanted to create a resource that would be beneficial for both bloggers and PR/Brands.
8.Why should viewers vote for your blog in the X-Factor Awards?
Tina Gray {dot} Me is all about keeping it real. Parenting can be difficult sometimes and I try not to take life too seriously. If one of my blog posts makes someone laugh, then my job is done.
9. What can we expect from your blog in 2011?
Tina Gray {dot} Me readers can expect more of the mama-hood and homemaking posts they enjoy as well as new features such as Christmas Checkpoint, to help you get organised for Christmas by doing a little each month, and In Bill’s Kitchen, featuring Mr Gray doing what he does best. Readers can also expect informative product reviews and because I love giveaways, some exciting giveaways and contests.
